20 printable mazes whose outer wall forms a picture: bell, snowman, star, tree. Grid sizes run 20x20 up to 29x29 cells.
Solution paths are 46 to 139 cells long (about 77 on average). Each maze is perfect: every cell can be reached and there is exactly one path between START and FINISH, verified by program. The generator uses the recursive backtracker and growing-tree style, which produces twisty routes with long dead-end tunnels. A heavier outline wall makes each shape recognisable at a glance.
A colour accent keeps pages bright, yet everything still reads clearly in greyscale. Line weights were chosen to print crisply on any home inkjet or laser printer, in colour or black and white.
The answer key has 5 answer-key pages with 4 solved mazes on each page, the route drawn in colour.
Slip a few pages into a homework folder, a travel binder or a waiting-room kit. Parents can make a weekly maze challenge, one page per day.
