This Grade 6 pack gives you 24 word search puzzles with a new topic on every page. Word length and grid size are matched to Grade 6 readers.
Across the pack there are 432 hidden words. Themes include Data and Graphs, The Writing Process, Medieval Castles and Knights, Grammar and Punctuation Terms, Solid Shapes and 3D Geometry, Lab Tools and Safety, Planets of the Solar System and Cells and Microscopes, plus 16 more; sample words are Arrival, Money, Prism, Chilly, Tilt, Experiment.
Grid sizes ramp up from 16 × 16 to 19 × 19 as you work through the pack, with 15 to 21 words per puzzle; every puzzle uses the full set of eight directions including reversed words. The word list sits under the grid with a tick box beside every word, and there is a name and date line at the top of each page. Page 1 explains how to play and lists all 24 puzzles with check circles; pages 2 to 25 each hold a single puzzle.
Teachers and parents get a separate colour-coded answer key of 6 pages, with four solutions on each. One ZIP file holds four PDFs - puzzles and answer key, each in US Letter and A4 - so you can print whichever size fits your paper.
