Mazes with a silhouette: 16 puzzles in the shapes of heart, ages 7-adult and up.
The solved routes run from 34 to 194 cells, with an average of 90. Every layout was verified by breadth-first search, so no maze is blocked and none has two competing answers. The generator uses the recursive backtracker and Prim's algorithm style, which produces twisty routes with long dead-end tunnels. The wall that wraps each outline is drawn heavier, so the picture is easy to see.
There are no distracting backgrounds, which saves ink and keeps the focus on the maze. Walls are thick, dark lines on a light panel, and entrances are a full cell wide, so small hands can trace without slipping.
The answer key has 4 answer-key pages with 4 solved mazes on each page, the route drawn in colour.
Use them for fine-motor practice, pencil control and planning ahead. Good for early-finisher bins, quiet-time folders, car rides and rainy days.
Everything arrives as one ZIP containing US Letter and A4 PDFs of the 16 pages plus matching answer-key PDFs.
