Solve the maze, read the letters, find the word. This pack includes 20 secret-word mazes with words of 4 to 9 letters.
Solution paths are 20 to 88 cells long (about 41 on average). Every layout was verified by breadth-first search, so no maze is blocked and none has two competing answers. The generator uses the recursive backtracker and growing-tree style, which produces long, winding corridors with few branches. Words come from a animals list, for example Horse for maze 1 and Meerkat for maze 2. The key spells out each word.
A colour accent keeps pages bright, yet everything still reads clearly in greyscale. Walls are thick, dark lines on a light panel, and entrances are a full cell wide, so small hands can trace without slipping.
The answer key has 5 answer-key pages with 4 solved mazes on each page, the route drawn in colour.
Parents can make a weekly maze challenge, one page per day. Teachers can print a page as a warm-up or a sub-plan filler.
