Print a stack of 40 fresh graded mazes: grids range 8x8 up to 30x30 cells, and every one has exactly one route from start to finish.
The solved routes run from 24 to 238 cells, with an average of 75. A checker confirmed for every page that all cells connect and that only one route joins the entrance to the exit. The generator uses the recursive backtracker and Prim's algorithm and Kruskal's algorithm style, which produces twisty routes with long dead-end tunnels.
There are no distracting backgrounds, which saves ink and keeps the focus on the maze. Line weights were chosen to print crisply on any home inkjet or laser printer, in colour or black and white.
The answer key has 20 answer-key pages with 2 solved mazes on each page, the route drawn in colour.
Teachers can print a page as a warm-up or a sub-plan filler. Slip a few pages into a homework folder, a travel binder or a waiting-room kit.
