30 maze puzzles, one simple story: the ant is hungry or hopeful, and the apple is waiting at the other end. Each of the 15 pages is a brand new layout drawn from scratch.
Solution paths are 26 to 44 cells long (about 34 on average). Every layout was verified by breadth-first search, so no maze is blocked and none has two competing answers. The generator uses the growing-tree style, which produces a balanced mix of long corridors and short branches.
Walls are thick, dark lines on a light panel, and entrances are a full cell wide, so small hands can trace without slipping. The pages use a roomy margin so nothing is clipped when printed.
The answer key has 5 answer-key pages with 6 solved mazes on each page, the route drawn in colour.
Slip a few pages into a homework folder, a travel binder or a waiting-room kit. Good for early-finisher bins, quiet-time folders, car rides and rainy days.
