Kids ages 4-6 will enjoy guiding the bee to the flower through 20 mazes (7x9 up to 9x12 cells). Instructions are short and the pictures show where to begin and end.
Solution paths are 15 to 31 cells long (about 22 on average). Every layout was verified by breadth-first search, so no maze is blocked and none has two competing answers. The generator uses the Prim's algorithm style, which produces lots of short dead ends and a busy, bushy texture.
Each page has name and date lines, ready for classroom use. There are no distracting backgrounds, which saves ink and keeps the focus on the maze.
The answer key has 4 answer-key pages with 6 solved mazes on each page, the route drawn in colour.
Parents can make a weekly maze challenge, one page per day. Good for early-finisher bins, quiet-time folders, car rides and rainy days.
One ZIP download: print-ready PDFs for US Letter and A4 paper (10 pages), and the answer keys in both sizes.
