The word lists come from one theme, States of Matter, and are rotated from puzzle to puzzle so each word turns up several times in new places. Sample words: Puddle, Molecule, Matter, Freezing, Oxygen, Density, Plasma, Mass, Helium.
Each puzzle hides between 10 and 16 words in a grid that measures 11 × 11 up to 15 × 15; words run across, down, and on two diagonals (down-right and up-right) - nothing is written backwards. Each puzzle page has a name and date line, a title that names the theme, and a boxed word list with a check-off marker for every entry. The PDF has 11 pages: a contents and how-to-play page with a puzzle checklist, then 10 puzzles with one on each page.
