One workbook to run a fall reading challenge for a whole class. Type a 1 in a book box when a student finishes a book and the box fills with color; log weekly minutes on a second tab; and the Class Tracker works out books, total minutes, book-goal and minutes-goal percentages and a status for every child. The Leaderboard tab lists the top ten readers and shows class highlights such as total hours read and progress toward the class goal.

Fonts used: Fraunces, Nunito. They are free from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License, including commercial use. Install them before opening for the intended look; without them, a close fallback font is substituted automatically and spacing may differ a little.
How to use: type only in the soft yellow cells. Book boxes accept 1 or empty. No macros, add-ins or external links.
How it ranks: the leaderboard orders readers by books finished, then by minutes read, then by their position on the class list. Goal percentages are capped at 100%, and the status column shows Goal met!, Books done, Minutes done or Keep reading. The 26 sample students, books and minutes are made up so you can see everything working. Replace the names and clear the yellow cells to start your own challenge. A hidden helper column (R) drives the leaderboard ranking.
