A printable pack of 10 Wild Cats and Big Mammals puzzle pages for Grades 2-5. Each puzzle hides a different mix of words in a fresh letter grid, so the pages never feel repetitive.
Each puzzle hides between 11 and 18 words in a grid that measures 12 × 12 up to 16 × 16; hidden words go right, down or diagonally forward, a middle level between easy and tricky. A boxed word list below the grid shows each word to find, and a name/date line at the top makes the pages easy to hand in. You receive 11 pages in total, which is 10 puzzles plus an introduction page with instructions and a progress checklist.
The word lists come from one theme, Wild Cats and Big Mammals, and are rotated from puzzle to puzzle so each word turns up several times in new places. Sample words: Lynx, Herbivore, Tiger, Rhinoceros, Walrus, Roar, Mammal, Bobcat, Pounce.
Answer key: a separate PDF with 3 pages, showing four solved grids per page with every found word highlighted in color. You download a single ZIP containing the puzzles and the answer key as PDF files, in both US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) and A4.
