This Ancient Rome word search pack gives you 10 ready-to-print puzzles for Grades 4-7. Every page pairs a letter grid with a checklist of words to find, so learners can work alone or with a partner.
All 10 puzzles draw on the same Ancient Rome word bank, but every puzzle uses a different selection of words, and each one sits in a freshly generated grid. Words you will find include Fortress, Engineer, Senate, Marble, Tunic, Patrician, Latin, Colosseum, Scroll.
Grid sizes ramp up from 14 × 14 to 17 × 17 as you work through the pack, with 15 to 20 words per puzzle; hidden words go right, down or diagonally forward, a middle level between easy and tricky. A boxed word list below the grid shows each word to find, and a name/date line at the top makes the pages easy to hand in. The PDF has 11 pages: a contents and how-to-play page with a puzzle checklist, then 10 puzzles with one on each page.
