This Weather and Clouds word search pack gives you 10 ready-to-print puzzles for Grades 2-5. Every page pairs a letter grid with a checklist of words to find, so learners can work alone or with a partner.
All 10 puzzles draw on the same Weather and Clouds word bank, but every puzzle uses a different selection of words, and each one sits in a freshly generated grid. Words you will find include Shower, Breeze, Rainbow, Forecast, Lightning, Front, Storm, Barometer, Drought.
Difficulty climbs gently from 12 × 12 grids to 15 × 15 grids, hiding 8 to 14 words each; hidden words go right, down or diagonally forward, a middle level between easy and tricky. The word list sits under the grid with a tick box beside every word, and there is a name and date line at the top of each page. Page 1 explains how to play and lists all 10 puzzles with check circles; pages 2 to 11 each hold a single puzzle.
Teachers and parents get a separate colour-coded answer key of 3 pages, with four solutions on each. One ZIP file holds four PDFs - puzzles and answer key, each in US Letter and A4 - so you can print whichever size fits your paper.
