Item details
A two-page November newsletter for elementary teachers, styled like a classic newspaper with a cranberry-and-gold palette and a border of harvest illustrations. Page one holds a note to families, a what-we-are-learning list, a November calendar box and a four-week family gratitude challenge. Page two adds student quote boxes, a word of the month, reminders with check boxes, a cut-out Gratitude Tree leaf slip and contact lines.
Ideas for using it: - Send a November update home in print or as an emailed PDF - Collect thankful sentences from families for a classroom Gratitude Tree - Share the four-week gratitude challenge as a simple home connection
What's included: - 1 ZIP download holding 3 newsletter files plus a README - DOCX: editable 2-page newsletter, US Letter 8.5 x 11 in - ODT: the same newsletter for LibreOffice and OpenOffice - PDF: print-ready copy of both pages
Works with: - DOCX opens and edits in Microsoft Word (2016, 2019, 2021, Microsoft 365), Google Docs (upload to Drive and open with Docs), LibreOffice Writer and Apple Pages. - ODT opens and edits in LibreOffice Writer, Apache OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, Google Docs and Apple Pages. - PDF opens in any PDF viewer or browser and prints at US Letter / A4 without scaling.
Fonts used: Playfair Display, Nunito. They are free from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License, including commercial use. Install them before opening for the intended look; without them, a close fallback font is substituted automatically and spacing may differ a little.
The sample quotes are written as examples of the layout: delete them and add your own students' words. Dates are left as blanks (Nov __) so the newsletter can be reused every year.
Instant download, nothing shipped. Every illustration, layout and word in these files is original Educo work, licensed according to the tier you pick at checkout.
Works with Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice, Pages.
