Item details
Seven hand-painted-style watercolor washes on cold-press paper, in teal, plum, moss, pumpkin and indigo. Pigment is simulated layer by layer, so you get dark pooled edges, soft blooms, granulation in the paper valleys and overlapping glazes that mix like real paint.
Single landscape backgrounds, not tiles. Procedurally generated in code, not scans of real painting.
What's included: 1. Teal Tide - 4800 x 3200 px - teal wash with a violet glaze 2. Plum Midnight - 4800 x 3200 px - plum and blue-violet layered washes 3. Moss and Gold - 4800 x 3200 px - moss green overlapped with golden ochre 4. Pumpkin Blush - 4800 x 3200 px - pumpkin orange with a rose glaze 5. Sage Mist - 4800 x 3200 px - sage green and dusty blue, very soft 6. Indigo Rain - 4800 x 3200 px - indigo wash with violet blooms 7. Burnt Sienna Dusk - 4800 x 3200 px - sienna and amber glazes

Every texture is 4800 x 3200 px, 8-bit sRGB, tagged 300 DPI (16.0 x 10.7 in at 300 DPI). To keep the download a manageable size, the lossless set is supplied as PNG only (no TIFF files), because these textures are rich in fine detail and the files are large.
Ideas for using them: Base layer for collage, mixed-media printables and wedding-style stationery. Header and banner art for witchy shops, blogs and newsletters. Soft washes behind hand-lettered quotes, planner covers and journaling pages.
