Print-and-solve Fruits crosswords: 8 separate puzzles for Grades K-3, each built around its own list of topic words. Every word in a grid crosses at least one other word, and the squares that are not part of an answer stay blank, so nothing is padded with nonsense letters. Expect 8 words per puzzle (64 clues altogether), with short, familiar words (4-7 letters) and compact grids.
Words you will meet include Lemon, Peel, Melon, Apricot, Raisin, Lime and Apple. Clues are short definitions in plain language, such as "Sweet tropical fruit with orange flesh and a big pit" (5) or "Fuzzy brown fruit with bright green inside" (4).
The word bank on each page gives support: all answers are listed, and the bracketed letter count in every clue helps pick the right one. Each page puts the numbered grid first and the Across and Down clue lists underneath, plus a name and date line. Squares measure no less than 0.45 inch across, so there is plenty of room for pencil letters.
You also get a ready answer key - 1 page of completed grids with the clue numbers shown, up to 9 solved grids per page. Everything arrives in one ZIP file with two folders, US-Letter and A4. Each folder holds the 8-page puzzle PDF and the matching answer key PDF (4 PDFs in total).
