Item details
Scratchwood Ink imitates a broad dip pen on rough paper. Edges ripple like dried ink, hairline scratches run through the strokes where the nib ran dry, and tiny splatter specks drift near some letters, a different set for each glyph.
A medium-weight textured face: the splatter is part of the outlines, so no filters are needed.
Great for: - witchy spell-book titles and grimoire pages - old-world potion labels - letterpress-style invitations - journals and bullet-journal headers - vintage-feel book covers
What's included: - ScratchwoodInk-Regular.ttf (TrueType, for desktop apps) - ScratchwoodInk-Regular.otf (OpenType with CFF outlines, for desktop apps) - ScratchwoodInk-Regular.woff (web font) - ScratchwoodInk-Regular.woff2 (compressed web font) - ScratchwoodInk-Specimen.pdf (5-page specimen: character set, size ladder, in-use examples, install tips)
Character set: 159 glyphs covering A-Z, a-z, 0-9, standard punctuation and symbols (! ? . , : ; ' " ( ) - & @ $ % + = / * _ and more), curly quotes, en and em dashes, bullet, ellipsis, degree sign, plus Latin-1 accented capitals and lowercase letters such as e-acute, n-tilde, u-umlaut and c-cedilla. Single style (Regular), one weight, no kerning pairs: spacing is built into each glyph.
Compatibility: Use the TTF or OTF on your computer and the WOFF/WOFF2 pair on your website. The standard TTF and OTF formats install into Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity, Procreate, Word, PowerPoint, Pages, Keynote, Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio; Canva accepts uploaded fonts on its paid plans.
This is an original typeface drawn and generated by Educo. Digital download, nothing shipped; the files are available immediately after purchase. Personal, Commercial and Extended license tiers are available at checkout.
Works with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Word, Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Procreate, Affinity.
