Item details
Gourdy Gadabout is a very bold, slightly condensed face whose letters are scored with curved pumpkin ribs. Narrow slits follow the lobes of a gourd from top to bottom of each glyph, bowing outward so every letter looks like a tiny pumpkin cut with a carving tool.
This is a heavy display face; use it large and give it room. Ribs are inside the strokes, so outlines stay solid and cut-friendly.
Great for: - harvest festival and pumpkin patch signs - farm-stand chalkboard-style prints - Thanksgiving menus and place cards - autumn blog banners - pumpkin-spice product labels
What's included: - GourdyGadabout-Regular.ttf (TrueType, for desktop apps) - GourdyGadabout-Regular.otf (OpenType with CFF outlines, for desktop apps) - GourdyGadabout-Regular.woff (web font) - GourdyGadabout-Regular.woff2 (compressed web font) - GourdyGadabout-Specimen.pdf (5-page specimen: character set, size ladder, in-use examples, install tips)
Character set: 159 glyphs covering A-Z, a-z, 0-9, standard punctuation and symbols (! ? . , : ; ' " ( ) - & @ $ % + = / * _ and more), curly quotes, en and em dashes, bullet, ellipsis, degree sign, plus Latin-1 accented capitals and lowercase letters such as e-acute, n-tilde, u-umlaut and c-cedilla. Single style (Regular), one weight, no kerning pairs: spacing is built into each glyph.
