Item details
Belfry Wingtip is a high-contrast display serif with scalloped bat-wing feet. Where a classic serif would end in a flat bracket, each stem terminates in a wing-like fringe of pointed scallops, giving a gothic, candle-lit-library feeling while staying readable in words and short lines.
Thin horizontals are fine hairlines, so it is happiest at 24 pt and above on print or screen headlines.
Great for: - moody invitations and wedding-style Halloween stationery - book covers and chapter titles - vintage-style haunted mansion posters - wine-label and apothecary-style packaging - blog and newsletter headers
What's included: - BelfryWingtip-Regular.ttf (TrueType, for desktop apps) - BelfryWingtip-Regular.otf (OpenType with CFF outlines, for desktop apps) - BelfryWingtip-Regular.woff (web font) - BelfryWingtip-Regular.woff2 (compressed web font) - BelfryWingtip-Specimen.pdf (5-page specimen: character set, size ladder, in-use examples, install tips)
Character set: 159 glyphs covering A-Z, a-z, 0-9, standard punctuation and symbols (! ? . , : ; ' " ( ) - & @ $ % + = / * _ and more), curly quotes, en and em dashes, bullet, ellipsis, degree sign, plus Latin-1 accented capitals and lowercase letters such as e-acute, n-tilde, u-umlaut and c-cedilla.
