Item details
Thimbleton Stitch looks like felt letters sewn on with a running stitch. Each stroke is a chunky rounded band with a dashed seam of tiny cut-out stitches running down its centre line, spaced evenly so the seam follows every curve, corner and counter.
The stitch holes are most legible from about 40 pt upward. At small sizes the seam reads as a soft texture, which still looks cosy on labels.
Great for: - quilt and craft-fair signage - cosy autumn gift tags and labels - scrapbook and journal headers - handmade-shop banners and packaging - embroidery pattern covers and sewing blog graphics
What's included: - ThimbletonStitch-Regular.ttf (TrueType, for desktop apps) - ThimbletonStitch-Regular.otf (OpenType with CFF outlines, for desktop apps) - ThimbletonStitch-Regular.woff (web font) - ThimbletonStitch-Regular.woff2 (compressed web font) - ThimbletonStitch-Specimen.pdf (5-page specimen: character set, size ladder, in-use examples, install tips)
Character set: 159 glyphs covering A-Z, a-z, 0-9, standard punctuation and symbols (! ? . , : ; ' " ( ) - & @ $ % + = / * _ and more), curly quotes, en and em dashes, bullet, ellipsis, degree sign, plus Latin-1 accented capitals and lowercase letters such as e-acute, n-tilde, u-umlaut and c-cedilla. Single style (Regular), one weight, no kerning pairs: spacing is built into each glyph.
Compatibility: Use the TTF or OTF on your computer and the WOFF/WOFF2 pair on your website. The standard TTF and OTF formats install into Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity, Procreate, Word, PowerPoint, Pages, Keynote, Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio; Canva accepts uploaded fonts on its paid plans.
