Item details
Five woodland and farmyard animals drawn in navy outline stitch with plenty of open space to color: an owl on a branch with a falling leaf, a fox sitting between its paws with a big tail, a hedgehog carrying an apple on its spikes, a squirrel hugging an acorn, and a turkey with a fan of leaf-shaped feathers.
They are meant for classrooms and craft tables: stitch the outlines on white cotton squares, then let students color them with fabric markers and sew the squares into a class quilt or a fall banner. The outlines are closed and continuous, so there are no gaps for color to bleed through.
The designs also look charming left uncolored on a baby blanket corner, a child-size apron or a library tote, and the 5x7 versions are large enough to stand alone as framed hoop art.

Stitching notes: Redwork designs are outlines in bean stitch (triple stitch) for a bold hand-drawn line; they stitch quickly and look best on light or plain fabric. Use one thread color, or recolor any section in your machine software for a multi-color outline.
This is a digital download: you receive the files instantly and nothing is shipped. Personal, Commercial and Extended license tiers are available at checkout. The stitch files are original Educo digitizing; they may be sewn on items you make, but the files themselves cannot be resold, shared or redistributed.
