Five black-thread crow scenes with a quiet, old-engraving feel: a crow on a bare branch under a cratered moon, a crow balanced on a carved pumpkin, a crow in full flight with a crescent and star, a twisted dead tree with two crows and a harvest moon, and a crow sitting on a cross-marked gravestone with grass tufts.
The drawings are intentionally calm and graphic rather than gory, which makes them suitable for tea towels, linen napkins, tote bags and dark-academia style pillow covers. Stitched in black on oat or cream they look like pen sketches; stitched in silver grey on black cotton they look like chalk.
Because the designs are outline only, they stay soft and lightweight on thin fabrics and do not need heavy stabilizer. Each motif was routed to keep jumps and trims low.
