A friendly Halloween set drawn with a single purple line: a round-cheeked ghost with tiny sparkles, a bat with a freckle-sized face and ribbed wings, a trio of smiling candy corns, a spider dangling from a thread, a wrapped candy next to a swirl lollipop, and a jack-o-lantern treat pail with a handle. Nothing in the set is scary, so it suits baby bibs, toddler pillowcases and trick-or-treat bags.
The line weight is a triple bean stitch that reads clearly even at small sizes, and the faces use little spiral dots instead of heavy fills. Each motif is between 55 and 88 mm and fits the 4x4 hoop with room around it, so you can stitch one or combine several on a larger tote or banner in your machine software.
Try them on muslin party bags, onesies with a light tear-away backing, felt garlands or quilt blocks for a Halloween table runner.

Stitching notes: Redwork designs are outlines in bean stitch (triple stitch) for a bold hand-drawn line; they stitch quickly and look best on light or plain fabric. Use one thread color, or recolor any section in your machine software for a multi-color outline.
