Pumpkin Coloring Book Machine Embroidery Designs - 6 Redwork Outlines, 4x4 and 5x7 Hoop

Six pumpkin line drawings, stitched in a single rust-colored bean stitch, made to be colored in. Stitch the outline onto pale cotton, canvas or a cream tote bag, then hand the finished piece to a child with fabric markers or fabric crayons and let them fill the lobes, the leaves and the faces. Because the lines are continuous and unbroken, the color stays where it is put.

The set has a classic round pumpkin with a curling vine, a smiling pumpkin, a tall oval pumpkin, a squat harvest pumpkin, a trio of pumpkins sitting on the ground, and a pumpkin wearing a floppy straw hat with a flower on the band. Faces are stitched as tiny spiral dots and light curved lines, so there is plenty of open space left to decorate.

Good for classroom fall parties, library bags, class gift aprons, grandparent presents and booth items where visitors color their own bag. Every outline needs no heavy stabilizer and runs in a few minutes per motif, so a table of six can be stitched in an afternoon.

Stitching notes: Redwork designs are outlines in bean stitch (triple stitch) for a bold hand-drawn line; they stitch quickly and look best on light or plain fabric. Use one thread color, or recolor any section in your machine software for a multi-color outline.
