A right-angled corner ornament: two brown twigs run out from the corner and carry gold, pumpkin and cranberry leaves, while a rust-red oak leaf and a pair of acorns tuck into the bend. It is built as a single design that fits a square hoop, so the two arms are exactly the same length.
Hoop it on the corner of a napkin, a placemat, a tablecloth, a baby blanket, a hand towel or a book cover. For a full frame, stitch the corner design four times, rotating it ninety degrees in your embroidery software between each placement. Only one corner file is supplied.
Acorn nuts and caps are separate fills in two browns, finished with a chocolate satin outline, and the leaf veins are delicate cream bean stitches. The twigs are narrow satin columns so they stay flexible on soft fabric.

Compatibility: Compatible with home and commercial embroidery machines that accept DST, PES, PEC, JEF or VP3 files (Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Tajima). Use your machine software or tools like Hatch, Embrilliance and Ink/Stitch for optional edits.
Stitching notes: Stitch on stable woven fabric or with cut-away stabilizer on knits; 40 wt polyester thread and a 75/11 needle suit these densities. Fills use tatami rows about 0.4 mm apart with edge-walk and zigzag underlay; satin edges give crisp outlines.
