A ring of eight autumn leaves (two maples, two oaks, a birch and three aspen-style leaves) chained clockwise around a thin brown twig. The middle is left completely open on purpose: drop in a monogram, a family name, a year, a lettered word from your own lettering library or a small pocket-sized motif, and the wreath frames it.
It makes a lovely centre for a kitchen towel, a round cushion front, a framed hoop for the mantel, a table runner end or a pillowcase. The leaf colours (cranberry, pumpkin, gold and rust on a chocolate outline) read warm on cream, oat and sage fabric and pop on charcoal or forest green.
Each leaf is an individual fill with its own satin outline and a pale vein, stitched colour by colour so the machine does not wander between thread changes. The frame is supplied without any text, so your own lettering goes in the empty centre in software.

Compatibility: Machine-ready in DST, PES, PEC, JEF and VP3, so it runs on Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff and commercial Tajima-style machines. Editing is optional and works in Hatch, Embrilliance, Wilcom or Ink/Stitch.
Stitching notes: Stitch on stable woven fabric or with cut-away stabilizer on knits; 40 wt polyester thread and a 75/11 needle suit these densities. Fills use tatami rows about 0.4 mm apart with edge-walk and zigzag underlay; satin edges give crisp outlines.
