Five different leaves, each tipped at its own jaunty angle as if they had just drifted off the tree: a cranberry-and-orange maple, a chestnut oak, a buttery aspen, a fan-shaped ginkgo and a slim green birch leaf. Every leaf has a satin edge, a satin midrib and fine bean-stitch side veins, and every one is also supplied as its own file.
Use them together as a scattered border along a table runner, a row on a linen napkin set or a drift across the front of a sweatshirt, or pick one leaf for a pocket, a bookmark, a baby burp cloth or a hand towel. Because each leaf is a different outline and colourway, they never look like the same stamp repeated.
Each leaf is split into two tones with a clean seam down the middle, which gives the flat shapes a sense of light without any extra colour changes. Pieces fit comfortably inside the small hoop with room to spare for hooping tolerance.

Compatibility: Pick the format your machine reads: PES or PEC for Brother and Baby Lock, JEF for Janome, VP3 for Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff, DST for commercial machines and most others. The files open in embroidery software such as Hatch, Embrilliance, Wilcom and Ink/Stitch.
Stitching notes: Stitch on stable woven fabric or with cut-away stabilizer on knits; 40 wt polyester thread and a 75/11 needle suit these densities. Fills use tatami rows about 0.4 mm apart with edge-walk and zigzag underlay; satin edges give crisp outlines.
