Three pumpkins stacked like a porch display: a big orange one at the base, a cream heirloom pumpkin in the middle and a small sage-green gourd on top with a brown stem and two leaves. The soft, muted colors give it a harvest-market feel rather than a spooky one.
Every pumpkin is made from overlapping lobes with alternating stitch direction, and each one has its own satin edge in a matching darker thread, so the three shapes stay separate where they touch. Because the design is tall and narrow, the 5x7 and 6x10 sizes use the hoop height well.
It looks lovely on tall tea towels, long table runners, door hangers, welcome signs stitched on burlap and the front of a fall tote.

Stitching notes: Stitch on stable woven fabric or with cut-away stabilizer on knits; 40 wt polyester thread and a 75/11 needle suit these densities. Fills use tatami rows about 0.4 mm apart with edge-walk and zigzag underlay; satin edges give crisp outlines.
