Item details
A classic carved jack-o-lantern with a wide jagged grin, slanted eyes and a warm candle glow behind every cut. The pumpkin is built from five overlapping lobes whose fill rows run in alternating directions, so the thread catches the light differently on each rib and the body looks rounded instead of flat.
The glow is stitched as a bright yellow layer sitting inside a black outline, which keeps the face crisp even on dark fabric. A brown stem, a curling leaf with a light vein and a small tendril finish the top, and a burnt-orange satin edge wraps the outside.
It suits Halloween tea towels, canvas trick-or-treat bags, kids sweatshirts, porch pillows and fall table runners. The moody orange-and-black palette also looks good on black or charcoal cotton.

Stitching notes: Stitch on stable woven fabric or with cut-away stabilizer on knits; 40 wt polyester thread and a 75/11 needle suit these densities. Fills use tatami rows about 0.4 mm apart with edge-walk and zigzag underlay; satin edges give crisp outlines.
