Each story takes about five to ten minutes to read and ends with a clear question: who did it?
The mysteries are fair play. Every clue is in the text, every case has a Clues in Brief list, and each puzzle is a different kind of reasoning: eliminating suspects, checking alibis against a clock, decoding a simple secret message, working out who is telling the truth and arranging people in a line. There is no scary content, nobody is hurt, and each culprit has a kind reason. The answers were checked step by step, and a Hints chapter gives a small push without spoilers before the full Solutions.
