Professor Hazel needs the Moon Potion for tonight's class, but the ingredient cabinet at Moonwhisper Academy is locked and the code is lost. Players act as potion apprentices and solve five printed puzzles, each hiding one digit of the cabinet's five-digit code: a recipe card in shifting code, bottle math, ingredient riddles, a garden of hidden herb words and a garden-path maze.
The pack has two complete adventures. Level A (ages 6 to 9) uses a cipher with the key shown, addition-only bottle math, a four-riddle acrostic, a 7 by 7 herb grid and a 7 by 7 maze. Level B (ages 9 to 12) hides the cipher key behind a counting task, mixes subtraction and multiplication into the bottle math, uses a five-riddle acrostic, a 10 by 10 herb grid with diagonal and backward words and an 11 by 11 maze with decoys.
Every code was derived from the puzzle answers in code and checked: Level A opens with 94567 and Level B with 29873.
