On the Safety Spotter Walk, kids hunt for twelve things they will meet on a Halloween street: a porch light that is on, a crosswalk, a stop sign, a driveway, a reflective strip and more. Each find comes with a one-line Safe Move such as "Stop. Look left, right, then left again. Listen. Walk, do not run."
The pack also has a Safe Trick-or-Treat Pledge to sign, a Ready to Go checklist for grown-ups and kids, eight cut-out ID cards with blank lines for name and phone, a route map with house tally, an After the Walk treat check page (sealed wrappers only, read labels, when in doubt throw it out) and a Safety Star certificate.
