Ten cozy word searches for the weeks from first frost to Thanksgiving. The 12x12 grids hide 9 or 10 words each on harvest time, the Thanksgiving table, a cornucopia, autumn leaves, an apple orchard, squirrels, cozy sweaters, thankfulness, fall weather and a fall festival. Words run across, down or diagonally down-right, never backwards, so the puzzles fit second grade through fifth grade.
Warm cocoa-brown pages with a checkbox word bank; the thankfulness puzzle (Thankful Hearts) works nicely as a quiet gratitude activity. Nothing in the pack refers to any specific historical event, so it suits any classroom.
