Sixteen pixel-style color-by-number mosaics for fall and Halloween. Each page is a 26 x 26 grid (676 squares) with a number in every square and a color key underneath: a pumpkin, a friendly ghost, a maple leaf, a bat in front of the moon, a red apple, an acorn, a black cat, candy corn, a hoot owl, a toadstool, a witch hat, a crescent moon with stars, a bubbling cauldron, a haunted house, a glowing jack-o'-lantern and a sunflower. Pictures use 4 to 7 colors each, from soft pastel backgrounds to deep night skies.
Color by number is a calm way to practice number recognition, following a key and staying inside the lines, and the finished pixel picture is a satisfying reveal. Every square carries a number (the background has its own number too), and each mosaic has a matching fully colored answer page so teachers, parents and kids can check the result. The answer pages are generated from exactly the same grid data as the number pages.
